Today’s quote…
Whew, things are really heating up here in the Valley and at the center! I’ve been so busy lately with our new facials (hint hint) that I’ve not been by in a while. So, what better way to come back than with a quote?
Here’s a great one I found tonight. Remember, if you see a quote here or anywhere that really strikes a chord with you, post it somewhere you see often so you can meditate on it and really understand why it is so special to you… Cheers everyone!
“Happiness is not a matter of intensity, but of balance, order, rhythm, and harmony.”
Today’s quote…
- The best and safest thing is to keep a balance in your life, acknowledge the great powers around us and in us. If you can do that, and live that way, you are really a wise man.
- Euripides
Greek tragic dramatist (484 BC – 406 BC)
In Honor of Memorial Day…
…two quotes…
“Nurture your minds with great thoughts, to believe in the heroic makes heroes.”
~ Benjamin Disraeli (British Prime Minister and Novelist 1804-1881)
“True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever the cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever the cost.”
~ Arthur Ashe (American Social Activist and Tennis Player 1943-1993)
Please take a moment today to remember those that have died in the service of our country. But also take a moment today to recognize the freedom and beauty around you that they made possible.
Shari
Today’s quote…
“Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.” ~ Carol Burnett
Well said.
Till tomorrow, hug someone you love, yourself included! Shari
Today’s quote…
Hi everyone! I found another great quote for today. Enjoy!
“To wish to be well is part of becoming well.” ~ Seneca, Roman Philosopher, mid-1st century AD
So, remember, the journey to truly good health starts with the belief that you deserve to be well and the choice that you make to let go of whatever that illness was doing for you. It’s not an easy decision, but it is indeed a very powerful one.
Many blessings, Shari
Today’s quote…
Hi all,
Found another great quote. This is a great one to remember all day and remember how loved you are.
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” ~ Buddha
Have a great day everyone! Shari
Passion…
Passion is such a powerful thing. It’s hard to describe to someone how it feels to be passionate if they’ve never truly felt passionate about anything in their own life. I believe it’s highly important to find something that drives you from the inside, that creates action out of the passion that’s within you. And if you can find a career doing the very thing you’re passionate about, bonus! I was remembering today back to when I discovered this world of energy work and how very passionate I felt once I finally dipped a toe in and felt the water. That’s why I’m here today, reaching out and trying to pass that passion on to as many people as will listen. So, in that vein, the following quote is part of what sparked that unmistakable feeling of drive and passion within me. May it do the same for you. Enjoy…
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson, from A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles

Today’s quote…
Hi again,
As you can see, Janet posted a great article today about Lyme Disease. Make sure to read it if you haven’t already, very good information. Please share it with those you know to get the word out.
I wanted to just stop by really quick and post this quote I found today… I love little quotes like this because they’re great to put on a post-it and then stick them on your bathroom mirror or dashboard in the morning so you can meditate on it all day long… Needless to say, I’ll be doing this every so often (so stay tuned!)
“It is impossible to hold a grudge and have peace at the same time. It would be like trying to have day and night exist in the same moment.” – Lee L. Jampolsky, Ph.D., author of Smile for No Good Reason
Have a great day, everyone!
